The time has finally come for us to welcome our Year 7s to the launch of the S4 project’s third phase! After months of preparation we are so excited to meet the young scientists we are going to be working with for the next three years. We have tons of fun and fascinating things planned for your first year as part of this scheme, and can’t wait to start this science journey with you all! We are kicking off with our ‘Super Cells’ workshops where you’ll learn all about the awesome roles cells play in the everyday processes of animals and plants. You will get a crash course in microscopy, build a ‘berry’ interesting solar cell, and get the low down on how respiration and your food affect your body during exercise. See you soon!
